We didn't raise her, but when I was about 15 a doe was hit by a car out in front of my house and my father had to put her down because she was suffering. About a minute later we noticed her stomach was still moving and my father used his hunting knife and low and behold there was a fawn full term. Bear Country, which is a animal park near where I am from took her and she is still there today. I did hand raise a racoon whose mother was caught in a trap. That was a truly unique experience
