Hi, I am a vegan and although my pets are not, I know that dogs and cats can live healthy lives on a vegetarian diet. Some people encounter problems with this because they just give their animal a carrot and some tofu and expect a healthy pet. This is where the problems are. At most vets they sell science diet vegetarian dog and cat food with all the needed vitamins and such...this is fine and lots of my friends feed their very HEALTHY animals this...I might do it soon as well,,, BYE :)!!
