Of course!
I don't know about Sonya, but what I do know is this-

Most people have different levels of awareness. I have a pretty good awareness of animals. I can understand what my dog wants most often when he looks at me. I think nothing of it. Some people look at me and wonder, "well, how did you know that?"

How could I not? I can't relate to people who don't understand anymore than they can relate to me.

Same goes for understanding people. Some people are acutely aware of other people's feeling, some are not. I have a coworker who can look at me when I walk in the door and know what's going on with me. On the other hand, I can say to my boyfreind "this is what happened today and my feelings are really hurt and here's why" and he'll look at me like he couldn't understand a word I said, and tell me about his pickup truck......

Different levels of understanding and awareness......

We came home late one night and I took one look at my baby ball pythons and Knew they were very sick and in terrible pain. I got very upset and called to my boyfreind. He looked at them and said "what? How do you know? They're just lying there like they always do." Yes, they were, but I KNEW right away.

Mostly animals don't "speak" to us in the english language, but they most certainly DO communicate. It's simply up to us to be aware enough to understand. Different people have different awareness levels, but I do believe that they can be developed, and I'd love to develope mine to my fullest ability, and always strive to do so.

My critters are my best freinds, and best sympathizers. Thet understand me. I love to develop the best relationship I can with them, so I can provide them the best care they deserve!
