Its so hard to believe thats its been nearly 2 years since I lost my Samantha. She was such a very special girl and there will never be anotehr like her. I only waited a week when she went and just ahd to fill the void so I got Jack who has become an absolute delight. I have a corner in my bedroom that is where I keep Sams ashes and her photos. It gives me comfort to touch it and to talk to her. Some nights Jack sits on the bed staring into that corner and I just know that he and Sam and chatting. She is probably giving him a telling off for being naughty - lol. Jack is a mad jack russell cross but he also very very loving and loves to kiss and cuddle and I think that is Samanthas doing as her and I used to do that in bed at night - lol.
This is Samanthas corner. My sister things I am weird but i din't want to bury her in the garden as we won't be staying here. I want her to go in my coffin with me when I go
