I dont know what to say to make you feel any better. I do know some of the emotions you had at one time. I too do have a dog that would be considered a pit bull by uneducated. I have an american bulldog. And while he is hyper he is a gentle and loving dog. I can say that animals do remember things. And the thing he will remember most is LOVE... Yeah that is what he will remember... Honest and total love. Take that thought and hold it close to your heart. My heart and my thoughts are with you. This is a loss for you. You do need to mourn it. Consider requesting pics... See if they will get some to you... Put your mind at ease and comfort you. And we are here for you....
