oh, what a WONDERFUL tribute! i have ten cats of my own, one i'm fostering, and 150 i care for at a sanctuary yet my very first furchildren were mice and i have a deep fondness for the littleones! what a sweet thing you did to save the baby, even if he/she wasn't destined to be on this earth very long.

in his couple of days with you, this is one little mouse that got to experience what very few ever do: humans as warm and loving critters themselves. just think of the stories he'll have to tell his fellow mouse-angels, about pockets and offices and computers!

i'll add pipsqueak to this week's Bridge List, and will long carry this story around with me.
