I wanted to say thank you for your kind words. It is so hard to go on. Most people don't understand the loss of a close pet (I mean my baby). I am going to try to go back to work tomorrow but I'm very scared at how I will react. Everyone is suggesting that I call a doctor to get something to help with the grief. I don't think that anything will help. I think that it is something only time will heal like you have stated.
I do have another dog who is very upset at the loss also. He is 9 years old. I bought him at a pet store and he was what you call a over produced puppy mill dog. All the love that Charlie gave him has created a loving dog in Murphy. When I look at him I do see part of Charlie.
Again thank you for all your kind words. It made me cry because you descripted Charlie.
