Hello everyone,
I have had Charlie for 13 years. He had artritis but everything else checked out fine. Saturday we played a little, he gave me lots of kisses, he even had watermelon (his favorite food). Later on that night he died in his sleep.
It is so hard to go on. He was the best friend in the world. He never did anything wrong. He was my angel. How does one go on after something like this. I have one other dog, cat and a lizard but they are not the same. They are not Charlie. I can't eat because of the pain inside. I haven't gone to work because I can't stop crying. Since the day I got him he has been such a joy. Whenever I was sad he knew and would comfort me. When I found out I had thyroid cancer a few years ago, he is the one that made me strong enough to go through it. Whenever I would cry or be upset he would jump on me and start kissing me. That made me feel so much better.
I'm soooo sad.
Kim
