Hi..
I thought I would write to update anyone interested that I have been working so hard to hold that pet shop liable for the mess my furbaby is in. I wrote to the Attorney General and they said that it wasn't their job to do anything about this, but to contact the Florida Dept of Agriculture and Consumers Services.
I did, and I lodged a complaint against Puppy Palace...explained my story, and received a reply today. They said that they acknowledge receipt of my complaint against that pet shop and to advise me that they have begum the informal mediation process, as mandated by law under Florida Statues. They mailed the pet shop a copy of my complaint, and a request that they respond to my grievance. I should allow 60-90 days. I guess my next step would be litigation, but don't really want to go thru all that red tape. I just want them to do what they are required by law.
Too many people just let things like this go, and chalk it up, but not me...i am a fighter, and if i have to i will sue them, but i won't be for just a refund..it will be for ALL expenses...and maybe even some mental anguish thrown in there.I will keep you informed. Thanks for reading this.
Karen ( Mickeys Mom)
