Are pet stores required to carry liability insurance? I am ashamed to admit that my puppy came from a pet store, and was sold to me as a healthy, purebreeed yellow labrador. I am finding all kinds of health problems with him, and it is going to cost me thousands of dollars to treat him medically. I am wondering if i have any recourse to either the breeder or to the pet store.
