:Some states have a lemon law for pets. If yours doesn't, let your state legislators know how much your sick pet cost. Yours would make a great reason to get such a law.
My state (Florida) does have a lemon puppy law...but it is only up to the cost of the pet...My children paid $500.00 for Mickey and total costs for him will exceed $3000
