:74-year-old woman dragged a dog behind her car for two miles, tethered by an electrical cord, purportedly because it had become aggressive and she couldn't lift it or coax it into the car to take it to the animal shelter. Unfortunately, by the time she reached the shelter, the dog was in bad shape, but she left it in front of the dog pound on a Sunday with the intent to return Monday with her AKC papers so the shelter could adopt out the dog? Shelter workers discovered the dog when they reported to work Monday morning and the dog had to be euthanized. What is wrong with this woman that no other options occurred to her?
