Try dropping a line regarding this case to the Animal Legal Defense Fund. They may be able to make suggestions or point the proper individuals in the right direction for a proper sentence. Unfortunately, I saw similar sentencing in a slightly smaller case I was involved in with exotics. Over 100 animals live removed, dead not tallied and only 7 counts of misdemeanor cruelty - one of which was dropped for some mysterious reason. Try touching base with Bradley Woodall in the ALDF Anti-Cruelty office in Oregon and make sure that he is aware of the situation.
