I'm sorry for your loss. Even though it was the most difficult decision, it appears that it was probably the right one.

It's best not to second guess ourselves in these circumstances. Just know that your baby is no longer in pain.

i thought i'd let you know we had to have chewy put to sleep,he had a good 2 weeks on his medicine and i'd changed his diet and had started given him gags and chondrotin as recommended.i took him on lots of little walks,not that he was ever a like to walk on the lead dog.always on the beach or down the broads living life to the full.i hope we did the right thing the vets only other suggestion was to put the dye into his spine but that was really only going to tell us why it might of happened and there was probably nothing they could do and he was in so much pain and had lost all coordination in his back legs.I love and miss him so much..thanks for your advise though i did at least have some hope for those couple of weeks without crying all over him all the time.hope all your other dogs and pets are well and happy.
