Well I've never had a cat before! But I look after the neighbour's who is an absolute darling. Around when you want a cuddle but content to do her own thing otherwise. Dogs are just so much WORK sometimes! It can get bloody tiring!
But anyway, that sucks about your boy, Tebeau's done that quite a few times but normally after to good nights sleep he's OK, maybe a bit stiff but once he gets going he's not too bad.
Slight problem tho - he is going manic right now because there is a bitch on heat some where and he wants to run off and get jiggy! Suppose that means he's feeling better but just as well I got Jazmin spayed when I did or he wouldn't give her any peace! I actually think I made the right choice getting her done because already she is so much less aggressive, she's sooking up to people again, asking for cuddles, which is good because she is a great big huggy dog! I wondered whether it was worth it, seeing her so uncomfortable with the stitches and so out of sorts and having to restrict her exercise (which she is REALLY NOT pleased about!) but I think it's paid off. I know if I could get the same thing done I would because my hormones are always all over the place and they are a nightmare! I'm convinced she will enjoy life more as with less agression she can meet people, and go new places and do new things and get off the lead more so this is a good first step.
Hope your boy feels better soon, and he can get off running again!
