I really feel for you, I know how frightening and worrying it is when a pet suddenly falls ill. And dealing with a disabled friend can be very tiring and trying mentally but always bear in mind you are doing the best you possibly can and Quimby will love you for it.

With regards the cat-scan, does your vet have any instalment policies, allowing you time to pay up the vet fees? They can be very expensive but worth it. Sounds like it isn't essential for your cat to have this done so I wouldn't worry too much. Nurse him and love him the best you know how, and let us know how you both get on.
