Try checking ARAV.org under the "members" section for a qualified herp vet in your area. You can also check out Herpvetconnection.com. Don't be afraid to come out and ask a vet how much experience they have with turtles - not every vet will. Make a few phone calls and ask questions before dragging yourself and the turtle allover the place....;)
