:Hi folks. Was wondering how all of you are doing? Haven't heard from many of you in a while.
:PHRottn,
Hi! Long time no talk! I am healing nicely from the surgeries. It is amazing to me how long the incisions are sensitive! My bypass surgery to both legs was clear back last March, and the scar is STILL sensitive to the touch. Like just my shirt rubbing on it feels sore still!
I finally broke down and got me another Chow Chow. This one is my sixth Chow Chow. LOL! I named her Lucy! haha! Because she is the reddest color I have ever seen on any Chow. It reminded me of "I Love Lucy".. (Lucille Ball) so, hence the name! LOL! She is a pure breed, and my friend gave her to me, with papers. His Chow had five puppies. He kept one, sold three, and was about to sell Lucy, until I mentioned to him that I was considering getting another one. So he told me if I was serious, he would give her to me free, knowing how I was with all of my "girls". She was the "runt" of the litter. I fell in love with her instantly! Lucy is everything and more than I expected. She "owns" me is more like it! LOL!
Hope things are going good for you. Thanks for the work you do for the web site. People in pain need to hear your comforting words, which you attained from much heartwrenching experience I would imagine. Keep up the good work. ..... johnny
