Does she not make any attempt to get by without assistance? I have seen so many dogs & cats on the specials that they do on Animal Planet that adjust really well to being a tripod.

I would suggest that you post your question on the breed realted dog boards as well.

:My dog had her rear leg amputated last fall & I've been using a hand held harness - which was good - but now slips off her amputated side constantly. I want to get her a wheelchair - but I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with ones made for amputees? I have a wheelchair I bought on ebay - but it doesn't fit her correctly. The opening for her amputated side is too small. Thanks.
