:Hi there,
:My cat has been "paralyzed" since Saturday morning...she cannot get up on her legs..but she can move them.
:I was wondering if this is permanent..what kind of life would i be subjecting her to...should I consider euthanasia. If it is permanent, I will have to forcefeed her around the clock, and she will have to wear a diaper b/c she cannot get up to use the litter.
:What should I do??
:I believe she was poisoned, but she doesnt seem to be in any pain.
:Im in desperate need of answers. I cannot take her to the vet because i cannot afford treatment, and I know they will probably say to euthanize her since I cannot afford the treatment.
:And I dont think anyone will want her, but i would love to find her a new home with someone who could afford her treatment, but thats highly unlikely.
:Anyway, any help will be GREATLY appreciated!
:Thank you,
:Crystal
Crystal...please take your cat to a vet. Only they can provide you with the correct diagnosis. Many vets will give owners a break who can not afford treatment. Others will work out a payment schedule for you. Your cat deserves the chance to get better. Without proper treatment her chances are not very good. My prayers are with you. I hope your baby can get better.
