Melissa such a common problem with Doxies. My sister has two, I love them dearly! One of hers is also touchy about things like sweaters.

I watch a lot of animal shows on TV, the ones that I have seen seem to adapt to the carts relatively easy. But I'm sure we only see the successes. I would suggest that you post this question on the Dachshund Forum. You may get a better response there.

Keep us posted and let us know how she does.

:Have a doxie with a herniated disc which will probably require surgery and not sure on how sucessful that will be. So how do they adjust to the little carts? She is so depressed now being unable to walk watching her playmates playing it just breaks my heart. Just trying to decide if she is still going to be miserable if the surgery doesnt get her up and walking and she has something with wheels to pull around. She is a sensitive girl even hating sweaters mortally embarrassed by them so a touchy one to figure out. Thanks for any input. Melissa
