it will be a year tomorrow that my decaf left me. i cry everytime i have to write something like this. i miss him terribly. when i brought his ashes home, i place a picture of us, his collar and his favorite ball, which i promised him i would bring with me, on his container(a 1 qt paint can). i felt i had to wait to get someone else. fanny was a rescue i knew from the past and she needed some help. i took her home 6 weeks later. she will never replace decaf, no one can, but she does fill the void. i love her as much as i love decaf. not less, just different.
