:My son bought his lizard 2 days ago and although I understand they are docile lizards, he seems more lethargic than when we brought him home. He usually goes for his crickets and this morning he is not. He is laying his head down and I am worried he is not going to make it. We have been given so much different information on how to care for him that I am very confused what is right or wrong. We have fed him crickets, and yesterday he got his first giant mealworm. He has a uv light and warming light on during the day and it keeps his tank about 80 on warm side and 72 on cool side. At night he has a red light that keeps his tank about 70 degrees. He has a large water bowl that is big enough for him to sit in. We mist him and the cage twice daily for his humidity. Is this behavior normal for him, is he just trying to get acclimated to his new home or should I be worried. I have not seen any dropping yet. But he has eaten. ??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, I'm not familiar with that particular breed but would suggest you post your question at Kingsnake.com they should be able to help you over there.Good Luck!
