Erin,

I did make a few phone calls this morning. If in facy your cham is blind, its chances are slim to non, unfortunatly. From what I understand they are very sight dependant for feedings.

I do know many people find freezing an acceptable way to euthanize, but I do concur with Big Tattoo who replied with you on the cham forum. I personally feel that freezing to euthanize is terribly inhumane. It is a very slow death. You can have your vet administer the shot which is by far a more humane way to euthanize.
