(((( Shar ))))
Here is a hug for you. I am going through a simular situation right now, but with a dog who isnt so old.. she is maybe 8-9? I am wondering how I will live through it, if I have to do it and every second of the day.. if I will be 'right' when it happens.
I do think you should check out the sites about the (toxo). i have been pregnant many times, but was very luck enough not to get anything. We were very careful with cleaning up. I also argee with the thought that your little guy maybe sick. I had one of my kitties follow me around for weeks, and suddenly she was rushed to the ER and passsed away soon after. Thankfully the vet 'says' she didnt suffer. I pray for her that she did not and thankful for the time we had. I think she knew and it was her good-bye to me.
I do hope that it all works out for you. nice to have met you.
sincerely, dayle
