Ken...I can offer no help as far as an attorney. I do not live in that area. I can offer you my heartfelt sympathy. If someone were to do that to any of my dogs...I probably would not be responsible for what I would be capable of. My dogs ARE my children. Not knowing your wife...I have no idea why she would do this without at least talking to you. I am so sorry that this has happened to you and your children. I know the bond we form with our pets. I too delivered my Jake and CK...and that was a bond like no other I have had. They were my miracles and I loved them with all my heart and soul. I lost both of them this year at the age of fourteen and fifteen. Please try not to be angry...but to remember your dogs with the love in your heart that they gave to you. What has been done now...can't be changed. I hope that an attorney can help you..but as you have said...it will do nothing to bring your sweet babies back. Again...I am so very sorry for what has happened. Try in some way to forgive your ex wife. I just hope she can forgive herself. She truly is the one who has to live with what she did. God Speed your sweet babies. They are now at the bridge watching over their dad and knowing that you did love them. Your babies will always be with you in spirit.
