I hope that someday I can be as true of heart and character as my dogs. Dogs can teach us a lot and humans have A LOT to learn.

:I know some people don't understand why dogs should be honored at the same level as humans, but to me they represent something very special about humans as well as dogs. And if can not only work in partnership but in LOVE, to the death, with members of another species, why can't we believe one day we'll figure out how to live in partnership and love with other members of our own species?
