October is National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month!

I adopted a year old stray male cat with yesterday morning... We created a 'safe room' for him to start in, with his litter box, food and water... he has been hiding in a corner of that room ever since... He hasn't used the litter box at all (and doesn't appear to have urinated at all, and doesn't appear to have eaten or drunk anything either, I am desperately concerned about him... HELP!
