Jesse, if you are moving to Britain, then find a temporary adoption here in the US until you return. The Quarantine in Britain is atrocious and many not so hardy animals do not survive. If you move to Germany, then you are not allowed to bring Mastifs, Rottweilers, etc... Those animals that fit under the German "Viscious Breed" category are no longer allowed in country. Contact the German Consulate for detailed documents as you must have updated vets records and certain shots before entering the country, and they must be in German and English.
