Keep us updated. If you could take care of him it would be wonderful
They may be able to steer you in the right direction. You may be able to trap him and then take him to the vet. Where in California?

:I live in California in a city where people let their cats roam free. There is a WONDERFUL Tom who visits regularly and today he is badly bitten and the side of his face rubbed almost raw --- right next to his eye. And the hair is off in patches along his neck. THEN there is a beautiful white with black cat who appeared today and who cannot put his right hind leg down. I called the shelter and they said cats are free roaming animals --- they WON'T even come and pick them up, AND they are a kill shelter. What can i DO!!!!!????? They said to write to the Mayor or congressman, but ONE person won't do the trick and others don't care! I LOVE this Tom and if he would only get along with my Corkie I would adopt him.
:If I can get him neutered (supposing he tests negative to FIP, FLV and FIV) would he survive on the street? He is quite a toughy but does have a heart of gold!
