:Reptiles are going to be tough to get help with. I say this from experience. Local animal control most likely will know little to nothing about any of the animals about which you are concerned. Try locating an animal cruelty investigator by contacting local shelters. You MIGHT have better luck there but, again, you will most likely have to educate the investigator in order to get any action. Your state vet's office may or may not be useful as they are usually the entity that licenses and/regulates pet shops.

:Can I ask which state you are from?

This petshop happens to be in NE Illinois and is part of a chain. Any other different suggestions?
